Salvation Army settles $1.87M class action over claims of violation of FCRA

The Salvation Army agreed to pay eligible class members more than $1,870.000.00 to satisfy claims that it failed to comply with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) when conducting background checks on applicants.

The Salvation Army allegedly procured background check reports without providing proper FCRA disclosures.
